facts are supplied. **Skip down for Cliff's Notes version** I am not taking either side in the matter. If the AMS manifolds are, in fact, an exact copy of the MSP manifolds, then there is a serious problem that deserves serious action and attention. However, though they look identical on the outside, if they are in anyway different on the inside and result in better (or worse for that matter) airflow, then the design is different. It may sound like a silly comparison, but look at soda products. Compare Coca-Cola and Pepsi: the can looks the same, the color looks the same, both are carbonated; hell, most people cannot even taste the difference and don't refuse one as a substitute for the other when told at a restaurant "We only have Pepsi. Is that okay?" But Coke and Pepsi are not the same, though they certainly look it and sometimes taste it because Pepsi has a variation in ingredients that makes Pepsi a different product than Coke. These are two patented products which are substitutable goods. And, let's not forget, if there is not a patent on MSP manifolds, then we really are getting worked up over nothing. Please know that I am not suggesting that the absence of a patent makes it okay to steal others' ideas; I don't personally believe that, but the law does not protect against the use of unpatented ideas. In short, I am simply saying I think we should wait for vendors to respond, particularly AMS with R&D, as well as test result data on the manifolds before we start a consumer/vendor war. **Let's argue on fact instead of on speculation.**
